Master Cruise Counsellor
I joined the staff at Completely Cruises in November 1993 as I was midway through travel agent school. My first cruise was in January 1991, a seven night eastern Caribbean on Holland America Line's Westerdam.  This ship will always have a special meaning to me and I was very fortunate to have sailed on her two more times.  I have sailed on many other cruise lines, including Princess Cruises, Carnival Cruise Lines, Royal Caribbean, Norwegian Cruise Line, and Uniworld River Cruises.

My interest in cruising began by watching the television series, "The Love Boat," one of my favorite shows. Its still fun to catch episodes on TV now and then, or even better I can buy episodes on DVD.

I have sailed to many destinations including the Caribbean, Bahamas, Alaska, Bermuda, Mediterranean, the Baltic, Hawaii, Panama Canal, Canada/New England, and the Mexican Riviera.  Some of my favorite voyages include the final transatlantic sailing of the ss Rotterdam V in 1991; a 16 day Panama Canal cruise aboard the ms Statendam in 1994; and a unique river cruise, during an unbelievable European heat wave, to and from Venice in 2003.

My biggest and most exciting cruise adventure was circumnavigating the South American continent on Holland America and Princess Cruises in three consecutive voyages on two different ships.  South America is a destination unlike any other.  Cities like Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aries, the Falkland Islands, and Ushuaia, the world's southern-most city, all have something wonderful to offer.  I have gone white water rafting in Costa Rica (I was the one tossed out of the raft), rock climbing in Skagway, Alaska, and ziplining in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.  And, most exciting of all, I hiked solo on Devil's Island.  These were adventures of a lifetime.

When sailing, I enjoy times ashore trying a new restaurant, a new adventure, and, of course, shopping.  If I'm not strolling on land you can find me on the Lido Deck in a lounge chair with a good book or listening to my Ipod.
